Aggro Tomato Reviews: The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim 10th Anniversary Edition

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 10th Anniversary Edition is a re-release of the beloved open-world RPG that first launched in 2011. As a big fan of the original game, I was excited to dive back into the land of Skyrim and see what new features and improvements the Anniversary Edition had to offer running a new play-through.

One of the standout features of the Anniversary Edition is the inclusion of all previously released DLCs, including Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. These DLCs add hours of additional content to the already massive game, giving players even more to explore and discover. The addition of survival mode, which adds hunger, fatigue, and cold to the game, also provides a new challenge for seasoned players.

Visually, the Anniversary Edition features updated graphics and improved lighting effects, which breathe new life into the game's world. The addition of over 500 unique pieces of Creation Club content, including quests, weapons, and outfits, also adds a new level of customization to the game.

For those who played the original game on previous generation consoles, the Anniversary Edition also includes mod support on consoles for the first time. This means that players can easily access and install community-made mods to enhance their gameplay experience.

However, it's worth noting that some of the new features, such as the creation club content, may not be of interest to all players. Additionally, the game's AI and combat mechanics are still showing their age, which may be noticeable to players who have become accustomed to more modern RPGs.

Overall, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is an excellent way to revisit one of the best RPGs of all time, or experience it for the first time with all of the DLCs and enhancements. The game's vast world, immersive lore, and endless possibilities for exploration and role-playing make it a must-play for any RPG fan. If you haven't played Skyrim before, this is the definitive edition to pick up. And if you're a returning player, the updated visuals and new features make it worth revisiting.

Aswang: A Tale of Horror

Deep in the remote province of Samar lies the small village of Barrio Masikil, shrouded in a veil of mystery and fear. The locals are known for their hospitality and kindness, but beneath the surface lurks a dark secret that sends shivers down the spine of anyone who dares to venture there.

It is said that on every full moon, a creature known as the Aswang emerges from the darkness to prey upon the unsuspecting villagers. This demonic entity has the ability to change its form from a beautiful woman to a terrifying monster with razor-sharp claws and fangs.

One night, Tisyang and Miguel were walking home from a late-night gathering of the townsfolk when they heard a strange noise emanating from the surrounding jungle. The hair on the back of their necks stood up as they realized they were not alone.

Suddenly, a beautiful woman appeared from the shadows, with long, flowing hair that seemed to glow in the moonlight. But as she drew closer, Tisyang noticed her eyes had a strange, almost hypnotic quality that made her feel uneasy.

The woman revealed herself to be the Aswang, a creature of pure evil and darkness. She lunged at Tisyang and Miguel, her eyes gleaming with a sinister hunger. The couple fought back with all their might, but the Aswang was too powerful for them to overcome.

As the creature closed in for the kill, a group of villagers appeared, armed with sharpened stakes and silver-tipped arrows. The Aswang snarled and hissed, but the villagers remained undaunted, determined to protect their community at any cost.

As the battle raged on, it became clear that the Aswang was not a mere legend or myth, but a truly fearsome creature with supernatural powers. But the villagers were brave and steadfast, and they managed to trap the Aswang in a circle of salt.

It was then that they learned the true identity of the Aswang. Her human form was a beautiful woman named Dahlia, who had been possessed by an evil spirit. She had used her beauty to lure unsuspecting victims to their doom, feeding on their blood and flesh to satisfy her insatiable hunger.

The villagers of Barrio Masikil never forgot the night when they faced down the Aswang and emerged victorious. To this day, they remain vigilant and on guard, knowing that the darkness that surrounds them is never far away. And travelers passing through the area still report strange noises and sightings, a haunting reminder of the terror that once plagued this remote corner of the Philippines.
